OLA Precise Language Services provides the highest quality legal interpretations in situations where accuracy is crucial. Court certified interpreters are in and out of court and exposed to different types of cases with a variety of judgements and resolutions. They are familiar with the legal process and understand the legal environment. OLA interpreters are at home serving the legal community.
OLA PLS has a national network of court certified interpreters throughout the United States that provide a high standard of professional ethics and conduct. OLA interpreters work to create a highly professional and efficient work environment. OLA interpreters are video remote ready and proudly serve the legal community and their clients.

3 tiers of expertise for every field of legal practice
Court Certified: vetted by the courts that provided their certification under the umbrella of the National State Court Consortium which are transferrable to most states. We have Federal, State and Immigration court certified interpreters on our teams. Each interpreters has passed an oral exam test with accuracy within the consecutive and simultaneous mode as well as sight translations. Additionally, some of our interpreters also carry a JD from the United States or from their country of origin.
Legal Qualified: These interpreters are a mix between community interpreters with a lean towards the legal field and interpreters currently on tract to take their court certification oral exam. Starting to work in municipal courts, witness preparation for depositions, and in some cases with community services.
Community Interpreters: Our community interpreters are on track to work in the legal field. Our community interpreters have a certificate from one of two organizations that specialize in training aspiring interpreters. These interpreter work with Human Services, probation, and truancy cases, and our non-profit clients. They continue training with OLA PLS while working towards their court certification.
Felix Jovel
Founder and SOSI Immigration Court Certified Spanish Interpreter
Felix Jovel was born and raised in Washington, DC and has been living in Denver, CO for over 10 years. After providing community and legal interpreting as an independent contractor, he felt there was a need for accessing higher level, talented, certified interpreters in the Denver area. In turn, he decided to found OLA PLS to help connect certified interpreters with clients that understand and appreciate our level of commitment to the interpreter craft.
Mr. Jovel is a Spanish legal interpreter with a SOSI Immigration Court Certification. Currently working on his State court certification, he is responsible for the daily operations of OLA PLS services, and on occasion, will interpret for depositions and other legal meetings.
Mr. Jovel calls the Denver metropolitan area his home. He enjoys playing congas with a variety of musical projects and sharing in outdoor activities with his daughter Nisa and dog Bruno.
